I just read a story about a woman being charged with assault after she and her husband were accosted by a gang of thugs because she tried to stop them from defacing a memorial. I have read alot of stories from England lately about these "YOBS" committing murder and assault just because someone looks at them the wrong way. I have enjoyed traveling the England every two or three years for the last thirty years. But if I learn that this woman is prosecuted I don't believe I could ever return to a country that is out of control. We have gangs in America but our Police actively deal with them and Political Correctness doesnt prevent taking aggressive action when needed. Shame on England for making its criminals victims. If England considers itself civilized by pandering to its thugs you guys have gone silly.

We are aware there has been an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area. We are working with the anti-social behaviour unit to look at other means of controlling these young people, who are clearly upsetting residents.
